All About Events Wins Best “All Around Wedding Vendor” Award

California Wedding Day magazine names All About Events as 2016’s winner for the Central Coast

All About Events beat out more than 70 competitors to take the top slot for California Wedding Day’s 2016 competition among event vendors in the Central Coast region, which stretches from Monterey in the north to Ventura in the south. Award nominees are voted on by brides, grooms and vendors.

California Wedding Day is the region’s top luxury bridal magazine and website, catering to engaged couples from San Diego to San Francisco. This year was the third annual awards competition.

“I am honored and proud on behalf of our entire team,” said All About Events President Steven Herring. They make me look good. They work very hard and uphold our high quality standards in the wedding industry.”

All About Events masterminds complex weddings and other special occasions, including company parties, winery celebrations, winemaker dinners and more. They have a San Luis Obispo showroom where planners can inspect what they’d like to order, and there is small will call for carryout items. Larger orders are delivered across the county from their Paso Robles facilities. For individuals who need help with planning a wedding or special event, contact Brooke or Lindsey at All About Events to learn about their coordination services.

All About Events is a quality wedding and event rental outfit that serves all of San Luis Obispo County from warehouse and showroom locations in Paso Robles and San Luis Obispo. They also stock a wide variety of tents in many styles for any special occasion that benefits from outdoor tenting. All About Events pride themselves on providing only the best-quality goods and services for weddings, parties and more, at fair market prices. Says Steven Herring, “We supply everything from china and glassware to large-scale tents.”

It’s a fact that along California’s central coast one finds some of the most gorgeous scenery, from the ocean vistas of Avila Beach and Cayucos to the vast oak forest of Atascadero, to the sculpted hillsides of Paso Robles, with its wineries and hidden treasures. Just to the north, visitors can stop off to tour the venerable Mission San Miguel, founded in 1797 or further to the west, drive up the wild coastline to visit the majestic Hearst Castle at San Simeon.

Steven Herring has made it the business of All About Events to insure that whatever your occasion, they will bring the best to the table. Herring started the company in Paso Robles on a shoestring in 2008, but it quickly grew to serve all of the North County, and today All About Events is staffed with 22 employees and six trucks, serving all of San Luis Obispo County.

“We focus on customer service, and I hire good guys and gals who learn the trade and uphold our high standards,” Herrington said. With All About Events, enjoy endless opportunities to stage a wedding, a party, a weekend conference, a family reunion, a special occasion.

Spring 2016 Wedding Trends

–This week, San Luis Obispo wedding rental company All About Events released a report on the hottest wedding trends for Spring 2016.

The Spring 2016 Wedding Season is just a few months away, and All About Events wedding rentals San Luis Obispo has everything a bride and groom needs for their special day.

All About Events specializes in making a bride and groom’s wedding day a memory to last a lifetime. How do they do this? Staying up to date on the latest wedding trends in 2015 is key for those in the wedding industry. As styles change, it’s important for wedding rental locations to stay current with their inventory and provide quality rentals that every bride and groom will love. It’s also important for wedding rental San Luis Obispo companies to have plenty of inventory on hand, as the autumn and winter months in San Luis Obispo are a very popular time for couples to seal the deal.

Trends for 2016:

Shabby Chic
The shabby-chic farmhouse vibe is very popular right now, as more and more modern brides look to vintage apparel and style for inspiration. All About Events wedding rentals San Luis Obispo has a variety of antique and vintage décor items that add elegance and flare to any wedding spread. Long wooden tables, chairs, and wine barrels are among the most popular items rented this year.

Creative Seating Plans
Why stick to a typical seating arrangement when you can mix things up a bit? Receptions are designed to feel like a party, not a board conference or work meeting. Another big trend is lounge areas– a crucial element of cocktails or after-hours partying. All About Events San Luis Obispo wedding rental specialists has a wide selection of different sized tables and chairs to mix things up.

Metallics
Metallics in linens, centerpieces, and even gowns will all be trending as we enter into 2016. Gold, in particular, is popping up in wedding magazines and spring trend forecasts. Silver, however, seems to be becoming less popular than in years past. Rose gold is another trend that will be hot this spring.

Spring is also a popular time for engagements. As newly engaged couples start looking for their 2016 wedding inspirations, many California couples find the All About Events website a helpful resource for planning, pricing, and Pinning their dream wedding photos.

All About Events has tables, chairs, linens, glassware, flatware, tents, dance floors, and accessories available to rent for 2015. They also provide necessary appliances for a catering team to utilize. Paso Robles

Paso Robles is the largest town in San Luis Obispo “North County.” Paso Robles has a population of about 30,000 people. Originally known as “Hot Springs” by the local native tribes, Paso Robles is now officially named El Paso De Robles, which is Spanish for, “The pass of the oaks.”

Paso Robles, or Paso, as it’s commonly referred to, was known as the, “Almond Capital of the World” in the early part of the 1900’s, but in recent years, has become well known for it’s wine. There are currently close to 300 wineries in the town and the surrounding area.

Paso is a great place to host a vineyard wedding, and options are abundant. Paso has relatively mild winters with cold nights, and in the winter and spring months the rolling hills are a vibrant green. In summer and fall, temperatures can often breach 100 degrees, and the hills turn a seasonal gold. Paso Robles is located at 35°37′36″N 120°41′24″W.

All About Mother’s Day: Inspiration

Happy Mother’s Day! In honor of this beautiful holiday, we’ve chosen some lovely inspiration from all over the inter-webs to make this day as delightful as you make all of our lives!

Screen Shot 2015-05-10 at 12.05.50 AMThis stunning table design is thoughtful and sweet, just like a Mother’s Day table should be. Not only do we adore the lilac hues, but the attention to detail is remarkable. We love the bare wood, also found in our Farmhouse Table, paired with simple but lush florals and lovely décor elements.

PeoniesWho can beat a bouquet of peonies on Mother’s Day? They add a gorgeous sophistication to table design and bring a refreshing beauty to the room — just like mothers!

Mothers-Day-2012-The-Contemporary-Home-Regency-Tea-Cups-Saucers--Plates-From-4.99Next up on the Mother’s Day planner: tea, of course! Enjoying a cup with sons, daughters, and loved ones makes gathering around the table complete!

Screen Shot 2015-05-10 at 12.22.29 AMThese purple wisteria seem to symbolize how completely a mother’s love can wrap a home in love — for it’s truly a mother’s love that makes a house a home (even for the furry family members!). So today, and everyday, we salute you — mothers — for bringing so much joy, kindness, unconditional love, and care to our lives!

All About the Wedding : Rustic Italian Olive Branch Winery Wedding

Welcome to All About the Wedding a collection of beautiful weddings that incorporate elements from All About Events’ rental repertoire. This stunner was recently featured on Style Me Pretty and is a breath of inspiration!

The design of this wedding is so fresh and delightful that we included bushels of photos for your viewing pleasure! Planned by Venus Event Design with florals from The Little Branch and images by onelove photography, the wedding-day bliss of these high school sweethearts is contagious.

The gorgeous backdrop of old, flowing trees combined with natural, yet vitally unique, florals and a soft color palette make this wedding a seamless expression of beauty and harmony. We love the little personal details — like the sweet fabric heart sewn into the bride’s underskirt and the stations decked with Eucalyptus leaves — each component making the day filled with spirit and character. Every little piece of décor has so much charm and uniqueness, it’s almost impossible not to get swept away into the world of romance. We hope you soak it up and enjoy this rustic al fresco fete!

The timeless combination of dark, warm wood in the bare Farmhouse Tables with the light wood of the surrounding trees blend effortlessly. The soft greens and peaches tie in perfectly with the natural environment and the whole affair is a testimony to beautiful design. We feel so blessed to have been a part of this magnificent day.

About the Farmhouse Tables:

The Farmhouse Tables are handmade (by us!) with the wood’s brilliant grain showing through a dark, rich hue. Each table shines and offers an ideal setting for intimate conversations and festive gatherings. This picturesque California mountain event is a lovely example of just how much style and warmth the Farmhouse tables can add to an affair.

All About the Holiday : Easter

It’s almost Easter, and in preparation for the holiday, we’re dishing out some freshly-picked Easter design inspiration!!

We love how there are so many different ways you can go with the décor — from minimalist and monochromatic to bright and flourishing.

[LOOK 1:  SIMPLE & MONOCHROMATIC]

This beautiful design scheme uses a soft, gentle grey to create a soothing backdrop for other hues and textures to stand out. Whites, blacks, and natural colors look brilliant against this background, with which “less is more.” Natural elements, such as the pussy willows and floral arrangements, are refreshing amongst such a neutral, yet sophisticated, tone.

[LOOK 2: BRIGHT & FULL]

What an all-embracing way to head into the Spring season with spritely colors and abundant décor elements. Both sweet and exuberant, this motif is striking without being too overpowering. The bright colors bring in a cheerful atmosphere while the fullness of the design components create a warm, inviting feel.

All About the Bridal Shower : SMP Photo Shoot

Recently featured on Style Me Pretty, this Knot Crashers photo shoot by J.C. Winter was a ball to be a part of! We love the delightful, free-flowing feeling expressed through such a beautifully designed eventscape.

KnotCrashers14

What we appreciate most about this playful, romantic bridal shoot is the well balanced combination of its free-spirited motif brought into focus with intentional structure. The light, airy elements of clear glass, white place cards, and white/aqua/rose-colored linen are anchored by the corresponding amber-toned wine, blue succulent pottery place card holders, and definitive gold flatware.

It’s always fantastic to see art intermixed with nature, and the real flowers and eucalyptus leaves framing each floral-decorated invitation is an absolutely gorgeous setup.

We also adore the minimalist wooden display case framing different elements of the décor, such as the votive, yummy-looking meringues, and that scrumptious cake! The whole design scheme interweaves components of simplicity (check out the darling bouquet and organic cake garnishings) with sweet luxury (abundantly vibrant centerpieces and a three-tiered dessert!). This entire affair screams home-grown, but with a healthy does of cultured sophisticated to top it all off and elevate the sense of celebration to the truly remarkable occasion that it is.

March Trend : Yellow Wedding Style

YellowFlowers

It’s already the third month of 2015, can you believe it?! That means wedding season is fast approaching, and for those having their weddings this March, bright is in! The official flower of March is the yellow daffodil. . . ushering in the sun and making way for the growth of Spring. So much inspiration can be drawn from the color yellow for weddings and events during this month. In fact, here are some intriguing facts about this fantastic color!

yellowweddingdress

According to the Color Wheel Pro:

Yellow is the color of sunshine. It’s associated with joy, happiness, intellect, and energy. Yellow produces a warming effect, breeds cheerfulness, stimulates mental activity, and generates muscle energy. Bright, pure yellow is an attention getter, which is the reason taxicabs are painted this color. In heraldry, yellow indicates honor and loyalty. Use yellow to evoke pleasant, cheerful feelings. Yellow is very effective for attracting attention, so use it to highlight the most important elements of your design.

YellowWeddingBouquet

Yellow definitely makes a statement and adds an element of lightheartedness to design. Yellow is a fantastic accent color or a welcoming center-stage wedding tone.

LemonDrops

We recommend combining yellow and white for a fresh look; and yellow and green for an invigorating eventscape. No matter how you use or include yellow into an event, it’s sure to make an impression and encourage guests to feel welcomed and inspired!

All About the Wedding | Beth + Matt

rwd_styleunveiled_2014_bethandmatt_details_001

Welcome to All About the Wedding a collection of beautiful weddings that incorporate elements from All About Events’ rental repertoire! Today, we’re featuring a charming wedding from Janelle Marina Photography.

All About the Wedding | Beth + Matt

This sunny wedding at Taft Ranch is brought to life by personalized style and bright décor. The wonderful sunshine of the day is  carried through in the cheerful, bold sunflowers and brightly colored linens. We love the cowboy boot addition and ranch-feel of the whole event! The natural, weathered wood of the barn creates a comfortable and warm atmosphere set against the refreshing green outdoor environment.

The custom touches, like the rope that the couple tied together during their ceremony, bring personality and charm to the occasion. The consistency of the rustic theme is even brought in through the reception escort cards hanging from a beautifully framed chicken coop wire!

We definitely appreciate the mix of elegant and casual components, such as the Farmhouse Tables (for special accents) and White Samsonite Folding Chairs around the main reception tables. We absolutely love doing weddings in the Central Coast — every couple has their own unique style and such a chic rustic take on the Big Day! Enjoy this delight from Beth & Matt.

It’s always so sweet and fun to see couples integrating local staples into their events — and these trolley pictures are just too cute to boot! Overall, we adore the rustic/bright décor combination and incorporation of simple elegant details to create a dreamy wedding feel. Here’s to a gorgeous day and a lifetime of memories!

A Note on the White Samsonite Folding Chairs:

The White Samsonite Folding Chairs are perfect for a casual, yet nicely coordinating, dining scene. The plastic has just the right amount of “give” to offer a comfortable seat combined with firm stability. They also blend well with white linens and offer a clean visual scene when paired with colored tablecloths. These chairs are the ideal pick for an economical, simple ceremony or reception chair choice.
