Recently featured on Style Me Pretty, this Knot Crashers photo shoot by J.C. Winter was a ball to be a part of! We love the delightful, free-flowing feeling expressed through such a beautifully designed eventscape.
What we appreciate most about this playful, romantic bridal shoot is the well balanced combination of its free-spirited motif brought into focus with intentional structure. The light, airy elements of clear glass, white place cards, and white/aqua/rose-colored linen are anchored by the corresponding amber-toned wine, blue succulent pottery place card holders, and definitive gold flatware.
It’s always fantastic to see art intermixed with nature, and the real flowers and eucalyptus leaves framing each floral-decorated invitation is an absolutely gorgeous setup.
We also adore the minimalist wooden display case framing different elements of the décor, such as the votive, yummy-looking meringues, and that scrumptious cake! The whole design scheme interweaves components of simplicity (check out the darling bouquet and organic cake garnishings) with sweet luxury (abundantly vibrant centerpieces and a three-tiered dessert!). This entire affair screams home-grown, but with a healthy does of cultured sophisticated to top it all off and elevate the sense of celebration to the truly remarkable occasion that it is.

The wonderful sunshine of the day is carried through in the cheerful, bold sunflowers and brightly colored linens. We love the cowboy boot addition and ranch-feel of the whole event! The natural, weathered wood of the barn creates a comfortable and warm atmosphere set against the refreshing green outdoor environment.
The custom touches, like the rope that the couple tied together during their ceremony, bring personality and charm to the occasion. The consistency of the rustic theme is even brought in through the reception escort cards hanging from a beautifully framed chicken coop wire!
